Ingmar Bergman Auction

Ryan and Ingmar Bergman's 16mm Arri camera. This was the closest any of us got to owning a piece of Bergmanalia.
The room was really crowded, but after a while it thinned out when people realized that they weren't going to get anything of Bergman's for less than like $1500 (that's about how much his waste paper basket ended up costing).
This was my auction paddle. I was nervous that it was going to be like a movie where I sneezed and ended up buying something for a million dollars, but luckily that didn't happen.

Last week, we went to the auction of Ingmar Bergman's belongings at an auction house called Bukowski's here in Stockholm. We were hoping that we might be able to get something. We were eyeing a pair of stopwatches that were estimated at about $30, but they ended up going for over $10,000.
