Nietzsche Death Mask

Johan and Anna took us to the Thielska Galleriet - a quirky formerly private art collection purchased by the Swedish state from a bankrupt banker.
This was some kind of award or trophy, but I wasn't able to figure out what it might have been for.

Apparently, the banker was a big fan of Nietzsche - this is a death mask of the philosopher. It's in the middle of a room full of Munch drawings and prints with a beautiful view of the Stockholm archipelago.
